What Muslims and Some Christians Do Not Understand About the Trinity of God

Most Muslims see Christians who believe in the tripartite nature of God as “insane”. Meanwhile, some Christians themselves do not understand the meaning of trinity. There are Muslims who think the Christians are serving three Gods, but this is not true.

The Christians believe in the existence of only one God who manifests himself in three forms. God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit “is” one God. I will not say “are one” because it is like you trying to separate a single thing into many.

So, there is nothing like three Gods. You just might not be able to comprehend with the wisdom of man because you can’t explain the wonders of God with the knowledge of man. Jesus didn’t start existing when he came to the world through the Virgin Mary. Both religions are aware that Jesus is not a normal being like us. But the Muslims believe He is not God but a prophet.

Some say it is impossible for God to have a son. Well, you cannot justify the wonders of God like I said with the wisdom of man. But in the Bible, it is clearly stated that God called Jesus Christ His SON. You can check up on Matthew 3:17. If you don’t have a Bible, search on Google.

In Daniel 3: 24-26, God made an unbeliever see the revelation of this. King Nebuchadnezzar had thrown the three Hebrew men, namely, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the burning furnace, when the king saw a fourth man in the fire. He could have just said a ‘fourth person’, but no, the Lord used him to speak out that the fourth person was the Son of God.

It was not mentioned that any other person saw the fourth man, so we can conclude the eyes of the king were opened to see this, and his mouth was used to speak out. Therefore, it is one establishment in the Bible that Jesus existed before he was given to the world in man’s form.

If you read your Bible very well, you will understand that Christ said that “He ‘is’ before Abraham”. So, how do we explain this? It means he has been in existence before his human birth. He came to the world as a 100% man and a 100% God. In another place, He said nothing was created without Him. This means he is part of the creation.

Even John 1:1 attests to this. It says; ‘In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.’ John 1:1 is talking about Jesus Christ. In the Quran, Jesus is also known as the word. This is to show that Jesus exists before creation.

If you would take your time to read Genesis 1:26, there, it says ‘Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in our image, in our likeness…”’ I don’t know if we understand this already, but if you ask some people, they will tell you God was calling on the angels. This to me is very wrong. God was not calling on the angels. The angels are not equal with God, they will never be, and God would not have said “in our image”.

This is because the angels are only another creation of God. Obviously, it appears like God was calling on those who matched up with him. This was the community (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) coming together to form man. The truth is that God is a community. God was never in solitude. And this is why Jesus said nothing was created without Him.

And now, coming together to form man “in His image and likeness” means coming to form another with three forms. Trust me, another tripartite being was formed. This is why we humans have the body, the soul, the spirit.

Our body is our physical self, the spirit (the spiritual self) connects with God, and the soul (everlasting nature) leaves the body one day to the afterworld. Yet, I am one, and you are one. This is God doing what looks impossible to men even with men themselves.

After Jesus connected us back to God, the Holy Spirit came to dwell amidst us and still dwells amidst us and this is God guiding us, dwelling amongst men, and making sure we remain in tune with Him.
